Personalized Onesies

I realize that this may be a craft you think you need an embroidery machine for (and I do love using mine), but you can make personalized onesies several ways. You can get iron-on letters or appliques. You can do the freezer paper stenciling thing. You can hand embroider. You can bedazzle. For the big applique letter you can just cut out the letter you want and then use a regular machine with a tight zigzag stitch to go around the edge. And of course how can you resist to make matching baby shoes!

Picture Hanging


I'm not sure if hanging pictures counts as a craft for most people, but for me it does. It required thought and creativity about which frames and the layout. Getting bored of your walls?? Take some new pictures and hang them up for everyone to see. These were taken by 710 Photography - they did a great job.

Easy Mom Gift

If you're still looking for something for kids to give the moms in their lives, here's what we did. It's just scrapbook flowers layered and strung onto green pipe cleaner. Then we painted cheap pots and filled them with beans so the flowers would stand up. Happy Mom's Day!
