Take-A-Look Tuesday: Popcorn Ball Suckers

Renee sent in this really fun idea for a treat - here are her quick instructions:

It’s a popcorn ball over a sucker. Really fun! And bonus…no sticky fingers for the little tasters. It’s super easy… and a crowd pleaser.

1/3 cup corn syrup
1 small box of jello
1 bath of air popped popcorn (about ½ cup of popcorn unpopped)

Bring corn syrup and jello to a boil while stirring over medium high heat. Remove from heat and pour over lots of popcorn. Shape coated popcorn over unwrapped suckers. (Grease your hands well before attempting.) Cool on waxed paper.

Thanks for sharing Renee - what a fun idea!!  As always, if you have a craft or treat you'd like to share on Take-A-Look Tuesday, just click on the "email me" link - thanks!!

  1. really festive and fun. It would be cute as a table top planter idea that kids could pluck from or to take to a ball game and give each player with cello and ribbon around each pop.
