How's the Practice??

Are you trying the Photography Tip of switching to "P" and adjusting your ISO??  How's it going??  If you're getting blurry shots, it means your shutter is staying open long to try to grab more light and you wiggle during it.  So try bumping your ISO even higher or moving closer to the window, flipping on a light, etc. And try holding more still - bring your elbows in to your body, etc.

Next up we'll talk about "Focus Lock" - I think this is huge in getting to know your camera.  So look forward to that next week.

Also I want to do a few posts on the basics of Photoshop Elements and rave all about Actions, so that's coming up as well.

Un-photography related, I would like to do a post about sergers.  Is there anything else you'd like me to do a post about??  I'm always open for suggestions!

Have a great weekend - - look for our party show-off tomorrow morning....

  1. I can't wait for some posts on sergers. I've just bought one and have next to no idea what to do with it

  2. I just did a couple projects tonight on my serger using a narrow rolled hem. It was amazing! I love my serger!

  3. Hmm... Serger posts! Sounds good to me. I got one for my b-day a few months ago, but it is still sitting in the box. I really want to learn how to do a rolled hem.

  4. Not sure if you do this or not, but I would really like to know more about using Sure Cuts a Lot software with the Cricut. I just got it, and am a little lost. :) Serger posts sound awesome!! I would love it more if I had one. heehee. But maybe that will be in my future eventually.
