Showing Off

Another great link-up, as always.  And so my list of projects grows...

Like this wallet thing from infarrantly creative - she talks about how she had one in college for a student ID - I sooo know what she's talking about - my college one was ugly plastic, not the cuteness pictured below.  I can see how this would come in handy when I don't want to drag my whole bag...

How about these paper polka dots from Dandelion Wishes - they look great and seem a cinch to make - it's just a couple of paper fans hooked together.  I love the look when they're all bunched on the wall:

Who doesn't love a sock monkey?!  So of course I had to give a shout-out to The Autocrat for making her own instead of the store-bought version.

I know fabric flowers are everywhere.  A lot of times I pin or clip them in hair.  I like this idea over on Along For The Ride of attaching them to a hairband to spice up ponytails.

And then I had to feature the aprons from Munchkin Farm and burlap coasters from Black Kat's Design because yesterday, while you were taking over my blog for me, I was painting on burlap using the freezer paper method and making a full child's apron - - how fun that both my projects from yesterday were linked up from other people doing the same projects - - I love this craft blog world!!

Thanks to everyone - you make the link party happen!

Stay Tuned, if I survive my hosting of a Pampered Chef Party/Massive Playgroup this morning, I'll try and get an idea for Father's Day up later today...

  3. One of the first projects I made with my embroidery machine was an In-The-Hoop wallet design, that is perfect for my debit card and driver's license, and I added a ribbon loop for my key ring to attach to. It has been wonderful to have!
