Silhouette Project: Birthday Shirt

Remember, you can cut the vinyl with scissors.  Here I opted to use my Silhouette.  I could have used any fonts, but I wanted more of a "design" - - did you know that Silhouette offers designs for only $1.  And when I bought my machine it came with a $10 gift card to their design store - bonus!!  So I searched under birthday and found several I liked - I ended up with "Birthday Girl".  I also found a design of some candles in a set of 3 - I just used it twice for 6 candles for her 6th birthday.  Once you download the designs, you can use them over and over.
For me, I had a little trouble getting the iron-on vinyl to stick - it was inevitable since I was trying to make it at 11:30pm the night before her birthday.  Anyways, I think I forgot to pre-wash the shirt - you know how they say shirts directly from the store may have chemical coatings on them - I believe it now!  I thought I got it to work but after I washed it some of the design had come loose - I ironed it again and it worked perfectly - I think because now the shirt had been washed.  So once again, it was me that was the problem, not the product.  Sorry about the rambling - just putting the whole story out there.
