Homemade Pretzels

I've been wanting to make some homemade pretzels for awhile - during one of the snowdays with the kids home from school, I thought, let's just make them - so we did!
I got the recipe, Mall Pretzels, from AllRecipes.  They were good - not "mall pretzel good", but still very good.  I like to read peoples' comments on the recipe to get hints and stuff from other readers.

This was great fun for the kids.  They love pouring things into the mixer and being "helpers"  - -
And they LOVED rolling the dough into snakes:
The looked kind of sad and pathetic, but cooked up nice and good:
They weren't that hard, so if you're looking to make something, go try this!!
