Fudge Strawberry Cake

Ever since I saw the post for this cake over at Kristen Duke Photography, I knew I needed to make it! (Head over there for the recipe and how-to)
But I thought it was a little much just to whip up for dessert for our family.  So when we had people come to visit, I knew it was my chance to make it - wahoo!  I didn't measure my strawberries - I just used one container.  Next time I think I will use 2 containers - that's the only change.  It was delicious.  I love how the strawberries are mixed right in - must love it alot since that's the part I would double.
This cake was easy to make but had a big fancy impact - I can see how it'd be a great one to take somewhere where you can wow your friends.

  4. I made this last night and have literally just polished off my first sliver of a slice....OH MY GOODNESS I love you for posting this, I seriously have never tasted cake so lush. I only wish we had people coming so I could give them some...now we'll have to eat the whole thing just me and my husband.
