Apple Cake

Have I mentioned that we have Breakfast Tuesdays at our house?  Breakfast for dinner, every Tuesday.  LOVE it.

Well, this past Tuesday we had the missionaries from our church over for dinner - of course, Breakfast Style. Since we had guests I thought the meal should include a dessert, but still stick with a breakfast theme.  This Apple Cake from Bakerella sounded perfect.

First you make a dough and then you mix apple chunks right in - yum!
After it bakes it comes out like this:
I'm sure it's good at this point, but to fabuluize it even more, you poke holes all over it and pour on a caramel goo topping that seeps into the cake - yum, yum, yum.

We ate ours with ice cream - it was delicious.  Definitely will be making this one again!

  2. It's official, all the blogs I read need to go on notice not to post any more fantastic looking baked items. I want them all! This looks sooo good! Looks like I may need to bake again this weekend.
