Ordinary Hero Shopping

Each Month Lizzie from The Dancing Toad Photography gives us amazing photo tips.  This month is something a little different, but extra special, as they are trying to raise money for their adoption.  Also, they're offering a photo session giveaway on their blog - see the bottom of this post for info -

Time for some Christmas shopping everyone!
We are trying to raise money for our adoption so I became an Affiliate through Ordinary Hero which means we will receive 40% of all items sold in their online store (with my name, Lizzie Barrett, selected from the pull down menu at check-out) to go toward our adoption!

Yay!  And I'm even more excited about this next part....

Their TOP 3 sellers by the end of THIS WEEK will receive an extra $500, on top of the 40% already earned!!
So... if you can, please help us make it to the top 3!
To be in the top three I think we need to sell at least 60 items by SUNDAY!

60 items by November 13th at 11:59 p.m.

Can we do it?
I sure hope so!

Here are some of my favorite items from their shop:

(Please make sure to click on my name, Lizzie Barrett, from the pull down menu under Affiliates when you're checking out! THIS IS THE ONLY WAY WE GET CREDIT FOR YOUR PURCHASE!)

I have a weakness for a good old fashioned V-neck.

They have A LOT of t-shirts and sweaters that are great for guys AND girls!

I would buy this shirt, for me.

Super cute jacket!

And these shirts for littles... so cute!

Last year I got one of these shirts for my boys, they are SO soft.

They have a bunch of jewelry, lots that are made in Africa.

 And more!

Want to know something really cool?
If you didn't see anything in the shop that you'd want to buy for yourself or someone you know personally,
You can buy something for a stranger that could use a little help.
Ordinary Hero gives you the option to buy items for people in Africa.

You can buy a donkey, a sheep, backpacks, a bible, aqua shoes for kids, fleece blankets, raincoats, or a combination package full of things for the children.
Isn't that neat?  Over the last year I have gotten to know a lot about Ordinary Hero and it is such an amazing program.

So head here if you would like to purchase an item for a far away friend
Or check out their shop HERE.

And (in case you didn't catch this important detail earlier) PLEASE don't forget to click on my name, Lizzie Barrett, from the pull down menu under Affiliates when you're checking out!!!
THIS IS THE ONLY WAY WE GET CREDIT FOR YOUR PURCHASE!

This is a great way for you and your friends to get some Christmas shopping done while helping us out at the same time.
Happy shopping!
Tell your friends!

We also have a GIVEAWAY running on our blog for those that have helped out by making a purchase or by simply spreading the word.

Oh my goodness! My parents served as missionaries in AFrica, and I've been wracking my brain to think of a Christmas present for them! This is perfect.

I checked out the onlione store! Such great stuff... I had to make a purchase :)

Great post. Great idea! Best of luck with your adoption. We have done it twice. My dreams have come true and may yours as well. Can't wait to check out your store!
