Before we get to Take-A-Look Tuesday, a quick plug on this week's project over at SoYouThinkYou'reCrafty - - the theme is wood - we made moneyboxes. Let me give you a glimpse into the backstory - here's a pictorial reenactment:
we have glass money jugs (seen
HERE) - my son's is being represented by the one at the top of the stairs - he is being represented by the cat. Somehow he dropped his money jug at the top of the stairs - and it bounced and bounced, cracking and breaking on each step, leaving pieces behind, with a giant glass shatter when it hit the hardwood at the bottom of the steps. Wowza. Then and there, we knew we need WOOD money boxes. And made these.

We had a money jar break once, without benefit of a tumble down the stairs to spread the glass and pennies even further... you've got my sympathy for that clean up job!
