Pinwheel Frame Wreath - with Lifestyle Crafts

I am so excited to show you my Pinwheel Frame Wreath - it's been on my door for about a week and I LOVE it!!  (yep, it's still take a look Tuesday - just scroll down a post for that - I just had to show this off today, too).   It came together fairly quickly - - - I first got the idea from this wreath I saw that's over at Neverland Nook, which is super cute:

My daughter helped me make pinwheels by gluing 2 papers together, then I would cut them to form the pinwheels - it's great when "helping" kids are actually helpful - she did a great job saving me the step of gluing the papers together.

I also made this super cute banner that says "SPRING" - I'm kind of lazy about switching out my front door decor (I had to take down the St. Patty's one to put this one up) so I figure the pinwheels can be for Spring and Summer, and I'll just switch out the pennant banner.

To make the banner I used the Epic 6 machine and the new diecut letters from the BigTop collection - I thought about using this cute little pennant too, but I needed something a little bigger so I just cut the triangles.  I plan on using the mini pennant as some cup cake toppers - wouldn't that be so cute??  You can find these new diecuts along with a bunch of others over at Lifestyle Crafts (use code "SUGARBEE" for 20% off).  I loved how easy it was to create the letters - roll through and bam, done!
So, back to the wreath.  I had the banner and the pinwheels premade, then on the morning of the day we were to have people over, I thought, I should just whip that together.  I didn't have a wreath form or a good pool noodle, but I spotted an old frame and I thought that would be perfect.   I just hot glued everything on.  I love how cute and cheery it looks as you approach the door!!
Go make one of these today - it's so fun!!  You can do it!!

This is so cute! I've been trying to think of what to do with the white frame I used for my Easter wreath and this would be a perfect option! Love it.

Hi Mandy! How stinkin cute is that?! I love that you did yours on a frame, too. It gives the wreath a whole new feel! I might just have to go digging around for an old frame to make my own!
