Green Fluff – with COOL WHIP

I’ve posted about this before (on this post) – but I love this so much, I want to talk to you about it again – – mmm, Green Fluff!!

Whenever I need to bring something to a picnic or gathering, I opt for Green Fluff.  It’s delicious and super duper easy.  It always gets compliments.  Here’s the recipe, straight from the little recipe book my grandma made me when I was first married:

But I alter mine to only include 3 ingredients (the best ones! ) – – 1 package pistachio pudding, 1 can crushed pineapple, and about 8 oz of COOL WHIP Whipped Topping.  Mmmmm.

All you have to do is dump those 3 things in a bowl and stir.  This is a great treat to let the kids make on their own.  Then you refrigerate for several hours – or only 1 hour if you can’t wait any longer – then eat and enjoy!!

I think COOL WHIP makes everything just a little better.  This whole treat is made mostly out of COOL WHIP, and that’s what makes is so good!!

    I make this every holiday and it’s my fave! My mom made it for years. I also add a can of fruit cocktail and always extra mini marshmallows. I love marshmallows!

    When I was pregnant with my oldest, I would crave this stuff!! I would make and eat a whole bowl by myself, but I don’t think I’ve had it since! (she’s 17 now) Thanks for the reminder! :)

    This is my favorite! My grandmother makes it every Christmas into a pretty shaped mold and tops it with maraschino cherries all perfectly placed. Watergate Salad was the name it was originally given, I found old cooking magazines with the recipe in it. So cool! I see your grandmother has it on the recipe card too. Love this stuff!! I honestly don’t know why I’ve never made it myself. It’s so easy and I’ve had the recipe. Maybe I will.
