Straw Toppers - with Lifestyle Crafts

Yes, Straw Toppers are one of the cutest things ever... and yes, I hardly ever post on Tuesdays and today I'm posting not once but twice - so if you're here for Take-A-Look Tuesday, scroll down two posts for that...

I was able to try out some of Lifestyle Crafts IT Dies - - they're a go-to line, a must-have.  A great place to get started if you're wondering what dies to get first.

Here's what you get with the Label It kit - -everything you need!  And it's all so cute!!

Do you see how a few of those labels have slits in them?  I thought it was perfect to fit over a straw.  The slit wasn't quite big enough, but I just made that slit a little bigger and it worked perfect.  Then I used the alphabet die for the letters:

I love the look of layering several dies - - so cute!!  And it gives more depth to the project:
