WIWW - Halloween Edition

A themed What I Wore Wednesday post - - this is dedicated to all of you who might want to throw together a costume today.

For a church fall festival, last minute we thought we could be a family of Motorcycle Bikers - and it was easy to do!

--Just black shirts, black pants or jeans, and bandanas tied onto our heads.
--I found a leather jacket, youth size 10 for my son (first store I went to - awesome!) and a black jacket for myself.
--Borrowed some girls black boots from the neighbor girl.
--Drew facial hair and dark eyebrows on the boys.  The girls sported big earrings and heavy makeup.
--Trevor even thought to draw a tattoo.  He borrowed a real biker headwrap and chaps.
--I sported some tight faux leather pants that I found a few years ago at Walmart for $1 - at that price I knew they'd come in handy sometime.  They were borderline risque for a church party, but I wore a long shirt to cover some of the tightness.  And I guess I like to live on the edge.

If you want another idea for a quick last-minute costume, the Upside-Down Man is always a hit.  I've even won a cash prize with this one!

  5. What a cute biker family! I love that you bought those pants just because they were $1 and you knew they'd come in handy someday! You were right!

  6. That is a hysterically funny Halloween costume idea of a family...especially at a church function. So cute.
