This week marked the 100th Day of School for our kiddos - - maybe you've already past that milestone, but if not, here's a fun idea for a celebratory project - heart garland! It's today's post them :)
As a kindergartner my daughter needed a project to commemorate the 100 Day milestone. We went through lots of ideas but last minute thought of heart garland and it's perfect! Pretty easy to do with a heart punch - just punch 10 hearts out of 10 different pieces of paper. Then run them through the sewing machine in a strip. She counted again at the end to be sure it was 100:
She plans on giving to her teacher to use for classroom decor after the projects are over - so fun!
Apparently I lean towards a heart theme because a couple of years ago this is what my oldest daughter made, the 100 Day Heart:

Love the garland and I LOVE that sweet smile!
