and a quick heads-up to those of you that are local to the Kansas City area - - I am speaking at a conference on the basics of blogging - and it's FREE. It's a Genealogy Technology Conference in conjunction with RootsTech - they will stream some classes from RootsTech and some classes will be live. You DO need to register, but it is FREE. You don't have to pick a class from every time slot - you can just choose "None-I will not be attending this session" from time slots you don't want to go to, so if you just want to come to a class or two, go for it.
I am teaching:
Friday, March 22, 9:30am - Creating a Family History Blog - it's basically about how to start a blog, so you can blog about your family as life happens, etc - I'm sure you could apply it to starting a craft blog as well, but it will have a focus on a family blog.
Friday, March 22, 10:45am - Digital Family Reunions - it's about ways to incorporate technology into planning and executing family reunions - like how to use facebook groups and events, Google+ Hangouts, etc.
Friday, March 22, 6:30pm - Creating a Family History Blog - same class topic as above - -UPDATE - looks like this time slot is filled
Saturday, March 23, 2:45 - Creating a Family History Blog - same class topic as above
Saturday, March 23, 4pm - Digital Family Reunions - same class topic as above
and looking at the line-up, there are lots of classes that may be of interest to you. Enjoy!
NOW - - on to the link party - -
Can't wait to see what everyone's been up to - - and who will be the most viewed link - maybe you?
- - just a run down- -
- Link to a Specific Post, not your whole blog - no more than a couple of posts please
- Please don't link up anything you've already linked before (like something posted on a previous week)
- Try to visit a few other people at the party - everyone loves visits and encouraging comments!
If you're new to link-ups and have questions let me know and I'll do my best to help
here's a button for you, or you can pick other blog buttons from their page: Sugar Bee Craft Blog Buttons
