{Food Contributor} Jalapeno Popper Dip

Hi everyone!  It is Shannah, from Just Us Four, back again this month to share with you a new recipe.  The end of January always has people thinking about football and the BIG game.  One of our favorite Super Bowl party foods is Jalapeno Poppers.  The little poppers can be hard to transport though if you are headed out to a party so I decided to create Jalapeno Popper Dip which is so easy to transport and has all the flavor of the original appetizer.

This dip is so simple to make and you can make it ahead of time and bake right before you want it.  Or, throw it in the {mini} crockpot and let it heat up there.

What You'll Need:
6-8 jalapenos
4 oz cream cheese, softened
2/3 cup shredded pepper jack cheese
3 Tbsp ranch dressing
4 pieces of cooked bacon, crumbled
1/4 cup panko bread crumbs
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 Tbsp parmesan cheese

Let's Make It:
1)  Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.  Spray a medium sized baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.

2)  Seed and finely chop your jalapenos.  If you want a little more heat to the jalapenos, feel free to leave the seeds in.

3)  In a medium bowl, combine all of your ingredients and mix well.  Put into prepared baking dish and bake for about 15 minutes or until hot.   Top with additional jalapeno bits, bacon pieces and/or shredded cheese if desired.
This dip was awesome served with tortillas chips.

You could also serve it with triscuits or get healthy and throw some celery and carrots out there!
