I love trying all types of crafts, and I get excited when I complete them all. But there’s just something about actually accomplishing crochet project that gets me extra excited!! I’m no crochet pro (I wish I were!), so I just love when I am determined to make something, actually figure out how to read the pattern, and then it actually pretty much turns out. I may have started these Crochet Dishcloths over a year ago, but hey, I picked them up and finished the set and they’re pretty much awesomeness.
Growing up, we always used handmade dishcloths that were knitted by my grandma. She still supplies me with them! I tried knitting one once, but I’m really slow and haven’t really found the grove of knitting. But then I stumbled across CROCHET dishcloth patterns – now THAT’S something I can get behind.
When you crochet dishcloths, you’ll need a special kind of yarn, the kind that’s good for getting wet, etc. I used Sugar N Cream and you can get several dishcloths out of one ball (skein? is that what they’re called?). Next time I’m using THIS COLOR – so pretty!! I do love the bright rainbow colors I made – they’re going to be so fun and cheery in my kitchen!
I found the FREE CROCHET DISHCLOTH pattern for these at 5 Little Monkeys HERE. I’m not a pro at crochet, and I was able to figure out the pattern, so I’d call that a success! If you have other favorite crochet dishcloth patterns, I’d love to hear which ones.
They turned out so great!
