Spring is in the air!! Which means it’s time to buy all those super cute spring fabrics! And so of course you need projects for those fabrics…. and so I’m here to show you a fun one, these DIY Fabric Pots. I just LOVE how they turned out!
They’re simple to make and with all the different fabric choices, the possibilities are endless.
And I’ve even got a VIDEO tutorial in the works, so get excited about that. Meanwhile, let’s dive right in to the step-by-step tutorial here.
DIY Fabric Pots
-cute fabric (isn’t this fabric by Waverly Inspirations just perfect? I love it! You can find it at Walmart)
-pots in a desired size
-scissors, pen, flowers, etc
Trace around your pot, about an inch on both the top and bottom. Roll your pot and continue to trace as you roll. This will give you an arch of fabric. The arch helps everything to go on smoothly without wrinkles on the pot.
Cut along those lines.
Using Mod Podge, attach the fabric to the pot. Work your way around, applying mod podge as you go.
At the top and bottom, cut slits in the overhang fabric, Then fold it over. Secure with mod podge.
Now coat the entire outside of the fabric with mod podge to seal it. Let dry completely. That’s all there is to it!
Enjoy your new DIY Fabric Pots!! What will you fill yours with??
